Advanced Debridement and Irrigation: The Science and Simplicity behind a new technology
In this lecture, Dr. Sameer D. Jain will explore the underlying science of cavitation-based activation, outline a clinically efficient integration protocol, and highlight real-world applications in anatomically complex cases. Special attention will be given to the safety profile of OdneClean, a Swiss-engineered system that enhances traditional irrigation protocols through hydrodynamic cavitation. Dr. Jain will highlight OdneCleans’s controlled mechanical debridement of biofilm and debris and its ability to reduce the risks of irrigation-related accidents that may occur with other advanced delivery systems.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the mechanism of hydrodynamic cavitation:
Explain how OdneClean uses cavitation in sterile water to enhance the physical disruption of biofilm and improve the effectiveness of standard irrigants. - Recognize the safety advantages of cavitation-based irrigation:
Identify how OdneClean minimizes apical extrusion, thermal injury, and pressure-related risks associated with other advanced irrigation systems. - Implement OdneClean as an adjunct to conventional protocols:
Learn how to incorporate OdneClean into routine clinical workflows without increasing chair time or procedural complexity.
